"We have also reported 102 law firms to the legal practice council. We are continuing with the reconciliation going some years back and we are discovering more duplicates," she said during a media briefing in Centurion on Thursday.

Msibi explained that the duplicate payments are mostly as a result of the attachments of the entity's bank accounts.

She also claimed that those who benefited from the duplicate payments are spreading fake news and taking the entity to court.

"It is, therefore, surprising to see this offensive in the media to try and distort the affairs at RAF.

"We also in the past financial year 2019/2020 got a clean audit. However, these achievements are downplayed," said Msibi.

She warned the RAF critics to rather wait for the entity’s financial statements, which will show that it is on sound financial footing.
