R80 000 worth of drugs seized in Chatsworth

KZN police say they will be carrying out more sting operations in communities, after a suspected notorious drug dealer was nabbed in Chatsworth this weekend.
Drugs worth over R80 000 were allegedly found in his possession.
Spokesperson for Durban Metro police, Parbhoo Sewpersadh, says the city's special operations unit & the police seized drugs like heroine, mandrax & cocaine.
"Police seized drugs with a street value of R80 000", he said.
"Drugs confiscated consisted of 500 heroine capsules, 220 mandrax tablets and 288 crack or cocaine tablets", Sewpersadh said.
