R50,000 reward for information on missing Sydenham boy

A R50,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information that will lead police to little 10-year-old Miguel Louw from Sydenham.

Miguel was allegedly dragged into a taxi by the man who is known to him outside Rippon Primary School. The man, seen taking the boy on CCTV footage, has been arrested and charged, but the boy has not yet been found.

The accused made a brief appearance in court this week.
Miguel's grandmother, Arlene Paul, says the family is continuing their search.

"I cannot sleep these days and because I cannot sleep I am now taking sleeping tablets, and as for his mother, she is heading toward a breakdown", she said.
"This is now going on for three weeks and any information seems to come from this family", Paul said.
A prayer vigil was held for Miguel last night.
