R2m ransom for missing Gauteng school girl

A private investigator working on the kidnapping case of Amy-Lee de Jager has confirmed to that the captors are demanding a R2-million ransom.

The 5-year-old's parents were contacted by the kidnappers on Monday.
"There has been a R2-million ransom and it is alleged that she was kidnapped by four men in a white Toyota Fortuner," says private investigator Wendy Pascoe.
The Grade RR learner was kidnapped outside Kollegepark Primary school in Vanderbijlpark early Monday morning.

Amy's case, all the necessary authorities are involved in the case so
they are all going full out and doing what needs to be done," said Pascoe.
Police confirmed that De Jager was last seen wearing a pink dress, white shirt and black stockings.
"She was just dropped outside the school. [The suspects] then pushed the 5-year-old boy who was with her and they took the 6-year-old girl. It was her brother and she was with her mother," says Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele.
