Pupils from a school in Soweto, Johannesburg have been suspended after allegedly assaulting a teacher. The Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says the pupils - who have been linked to a similar incident at Moletsane Secondary School - will face a disciplinary hearing next week. The South African Council for Educators have also spoken out against the incident - saying this is only one of many cases that go unnoticed.
