Public Works donates land to Msunduzi

Msunduzi says the three parcels of land donated by the National Public Works Department will go a long way in clearing the city's housing backlog.

Municipal Manager Lulamile Mapholoba, says illegal land invasions have worsened their issues.
He says the land will mainly help with development in the Greater Edendale area.

"Also, to ensure that we are able to build different houses for various income streams. So we really appreciate the donation because we have constrained the availability of land.
“Most of the land parcels are invaded, so it is not easy to get land to develop, and the Department of Public Works came with this idea, and we welcomed it with both hands."
