Public hearings on land reform held in KZN
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Parliament wants to hear your input on the Restitution of Land Rights Amendment Bill.

The bill was previously declared invalid due to a lack of participation from the public.
The Portfolio Committee on Rural Development and Land Reform has been holding hearings across the country to get citizen's opinions on the amendment bill.
Public hearings on the bill are taking place in Port Shepstone today and in Ulundi tomorrow.
The committee's Pumzile Mnguni says more than 240,000 land claims have been lodged to date.
"We estimate that there could be at least 7-million claims still outstanding," he said.
