Protesting funeral practitioners hit the streets in Durban

A convoy of funeral practitioners is moving around Durban - shutting down parlours that opened their doors on Monday.
Members of several funeral associations say no funerals will take place while they embark on a three-day national strike.

There's been protests outside the mortuary on Gale Street in the Durban CBD over the outsourcing of mortuary facilities, pay and a COVID-19 relief fund for the industry.
Muzi Hlengwa - who speaks for the body in KZN says not enough is being done to transform the industry.
