Proper channels being taken in Gupta, Zuma probe: Ramaphosa
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC is not for sale.
He was responding to recent reports of the alleged influence of the politically-connected Gupta family in the running of the country, the ruling party and on president Jacob Zuma.
Ramaphosa addressed business people and academics at an ANC summit in Johannesburg last night.
The deputy president says a call by the party's NEC this past weekend for those with information on attempts to capture the ANC or state to take it directly to Secretary General, Gwede Mantashe has already yielded some positive results.
"People are now streaming in - they are going to present evidence, they are going to support allegations with concrete evidence. Now, we are dealing with it in a structured manner and in an ANC way," he said.
