Probe into faulty HIV testing kits
Updated | By Nondumiso Zakwe

The department is recalling two faulty batches which were distributed to several provinces including KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape, North West and Limpopo.
It is unclear how many of the kits were distributed.
The department's Joe Maila says they are investigating the distribution of the batch.
''The colour is not as bright as it should be. It's not giving false results - just that the colour becomes faint and therefore it becomes a concern which is why we have decided to [recall] them,'' he said.
