Probe into fatal Winklespruit plane crash
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding yesterday's fatal plane crash near Winklespruit south of Durban.
The Cessna 172 crashed into bushes near the N2 freeway claiming the lives of two people.
The plane which witnesses say had struck a power line as it crashed forced Metro Police to close the highway as a precautionary measure.

It has since been re-opened. Louis van Coller says he had been travelling north along the N2 near the Illovo bridge when he saw the small white aircraft coming very low towards him.
