Probe after two Verulam boys drown in Umdloti River

Two Durban families are mourning the deaths of their sons - who drowned in the Umdloti river at the weekend.
It is understood 10-year-old, Mlondi Dlamini and 11-year-old, Libongwe Ngcobo from Verulam went swimming in the river and got into trouble in the water.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says officers from the Umhlali K9 Search and Rescue Unit recovered their bodies late yesterday.
"An inquest docket was then opened for investigation. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated," she says.
