Princess Charlene to have surgery in SA
Updated | By Newswatch
Former KwaZulu-Natal resident Princess Charlene of Monaco is set to undergo an operation in South Africa.
This is according to a statement by the office of her husband, Prince Albert II.
But it hasn't given details of the four-hour procedure.
It says the prince and their two children will join her in the country for her recovery.
The former South African Olympic swimmer has been in the country for several months.
She attended the late King Goodwill Zwelithini's funeral in KwaNongoma earlier this year, and also used the trip to raise awareness about rhino poaching.
Before marrying Prince Albert II in 2011, Charlene had lived and trained in Durban.
