Pressure on IFP to act on scandal-plagued KZN members
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Political parties in KZN have heaped pressure on the IFP, calling on the party to take action against its members implicated in scandals.

The party suspended the mayor of the Abaqulusi Local Municipality.
He's alleged to have ordered municipal officials to consult him first before making staff appointments.
The IFP also suspended a councillor in the Alfred Duma Municipality, implicated in a sex-for-jobs scandal.
The ANC in KZN has called for heads to roll.
DA provincial leader, Francois Rodgers welcomed the steps taken by the IFP:
"The DA hopes that both of these individuals will face their respective ethics committees to be held accountable for their actions and where criminal behaviour is found they must face the full might of the law.
"We certainty believe this is a step in the right direction. All local government and municipalities need to be accountable and there needs to be consequences."
