Presidency hopes to complete 48 bridges in KZN
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Engineers have built 24 bridges in KwaZulu-Natal since last year's devastating floods.
The presidency's investment and infrastructure office says they're off to a good start following President Cyril Ramaphosa's commitment to construct 95 bridges over a period of three years.
Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says KwaZulu Natal was placed on their priority list following the catastrophic April floods.

Ramokgopa gave the media an update on these projects in Pretoria on Sunday.
"In the current financial year we will be able to conclude about 48 of these bridges and the reason why there has been a delay is that the in-year allocation was only received in the financial year but we are confident that we will be able to catch up.
"We have not received fiscal support for the next three years of R3.7 billion ro roll our these bridges."
