Premier: Resources vital for youth development
KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala says it is vital that government makes resources available for youth development.
Zikalala addressed the Youth Parliament yesterday in Endumeni - north of the province.
He says the KZN government has rolled out some youth empowerment programmes - while other projects are in the pipeline.
"We will continue to prioritise the plight of young people also when you consider that majority of the 27% unemployed are the youth", he said.
"We will therefore do all in our power to advance youth development", Zikalala said.
