Premier promises to delivery KZN economic plan soon
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala says the province’s economic recovery plan will be announced soon.

It follows the national plan to recuperate from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic unveiled by President Cyril Ramaphosa during the week.
Zikalala was speaking at a breakfast engagement with the KZN based Diplomatic Corp at the Durban ICC yesterday.
"We will have time when we present the plan which will detail specific programs that will help recover the economy. This will be done at the end of November", he said.
Zikalala also highlighted the need to root out corruption, which plagued provincial government departments during lockdown.
"Government acknowledges the scourge of corruption. A national task team will descend onto the province. The Premier's Office is also working on a hotline for people to report corruption", Zikalala said.
