KZN premier outlines key initiatives at provincial lekgotla

KZN Premier Thami Ntuli says economic growth is a key priority for the new provincial executive.

"We have a cohort of economically active and able young people who are sitting at home. We must engage in strategies to reduce youth unemployment."
He was speaking during the seventh provincial lekgotla at the Archie Gumede Conference Centre in Mayville on Tuesday

He's outlined the metrics to implement key initiatives by the new administration.
"We must go further and say how we will measure, how we will intervene where we see targets not being met and what means of management we will invoke in case of non-performance."
