Premier calls on Health officials intervention for Nquthu sex video pupils
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
KZN Premier Willies Mchunu has ordered officials from the departments of Health and Education to put pupils allegedly sexually abused by a teacher in Nquthu in northern KZN on ARVs.

The teacher, who is facing charges of rape and sexual abuse, has also appeared in a sex video. He claims the women in the videos are adults and not pupils.
The Premier’s spokesperson, Ndabezinhle Sibiya, says they want to ensure the pupils’ safety is taken care of.
"We fear that they might have contracted HIV," he said.
"It is for that reason that the Premier has instructed health professionals to ensure that quality health care is provided to the learners," Sibiya said.
