The office of the Public Protector has confirmed that the highly-anticipated state capture report will be released before the close of business today.
This follows a ruling by the North Gauteng High Court - which ordered the release of the report by close of business on Wednesday.

Madonsela was meant to release her report last month. However, Co-operative Governance minister Des Van Rooyen, and President Jacob Zuma, interdicted the report - preventing its release.

The report has since been kept under lock and key by new Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane, and her team.
Spokesperson for the Office of the Public Protector, Kgalalelo Masibi, says they will abide by the court's decision.
"The report will be published on the Public Protector website by five o'clock this afternoon. There won't be a press conference - it [the report] will be on the website," she said.
