The South African Post Office has assured the public that the resignation CEO Mark Barnes will not hinder its operations.

In a statement issued yesterday, SAPO announced that Barnes had tendered his resignation letter on Wednesday.
Barnes had cited differences on the strategy for the structure, particularly Postbank.
Charles Nwaila, SAPO board spokesperson, says they are confident interim group CEO Lindiwe Kwele, who currently serves as COO, will be able to take over the drivers seat successfully.
