Possible legal action in Miguel Louw case
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The attorney for the family of missing Durban boy, Miguel Louw, says they will be taking legal action against people behind a series of WhatsApp voice-notes and messages on social media about the young boy's mother, Raylene.

Vasthi Williams says the family is aware of controversial messages doing the rounds. But she says their priority at this stage is establishing whether the body of the young boy found in Phoenix belongs to Miguel.
Williams says they are now receiving assistance from the State as they work to uncover who first sent these messages.

She says the family’s distanced themselves from the messages.
"People do not realise that once something has been put out on social media it is there to stay. Raylene has been very brave and ignored the messages at my request because it has no bearing on the case. She has been a real trooper but everyone has their breaking point," Williams said.
