POLL: Are we closer to discovering life beyond our solar system?
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The discovery of Trappist-1 has stargazers wondering about the possibility of discovering signs of life outside of our solar system.
Scientists this week revealed they found seven Earth-like planets orbiting a small star in our Galaxy called Trappist-1.
Astronomers say this system, arguably the most spectacular, is 40 light years from Earth.
The first exoplanet (a planet outside our solar system) was discovered in 1995 by two Swiss astronomers. Since then, there's been string of other finds.
