Political Party Funding Bill heads to NCOP after Parliament's approval
Updated | By Heart FM News
NGO, ''My Vote Counts'' says it's pleased with the speed at which Parliament's passed the Political Party Funding Bill.

The legislation will force parties to disclose where they get their money. The EFF is the only party which voted against it.
Parliament has been under pressure to pass the legislation since "My Vote Counts" won a case in the High Court in September last year.
That judgment stated that parliament must ensure that the law compels political parties to let the public see who funds them and gave Parliament 18 months to do so.
But Parliament was able to create a committee, hold public hearings, and write up a draft bill by the end of last year.
That bill has now been approved, but the NGO's Janine Ogle says there's another hurdle to go.
