Political analyst confident in KZN cabinet reshuffle

A Political Analyst says MEC Ravi Pillay's re-assignment to the department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs is an indication of the Premier's confidence in him.
"He says Pillay has been given a huge portfolio and believes that in many ways this will energise that portfolio
Nomusa Dube-Ncube whose been leading the Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs has been re-assigned to the Finance Portfolio.
Pillay was moved to the Edtea portfolio.
Analyst, Imraan Buccus says it's clear that Pillay has established himself as a really safe pair of hands.

"I think in the post-COVID context in KZN and South Africa generally.
Ravi will bring fresh energy to this portfolio and I think the Premier also recognises that. Ravi Pillay comes from a background of having managed infrastructure, having done really well as a workaholic MEC.
"I think in both cases, this brings new energy to each of their new portfolios.
