Police searching for woman who dumped foetus in Phoenix

KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a search for the woman
who dumped the body of a foetus in Phoenix, north of Durban.

The foetus was found by a resident who inspected the contents of a packet found in the mouth of a dog yesterday.
SAPS spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala is urging anyone with information to come forward.
“We are still searching for the suspect involved. A case of concealment of birth has been opened,” she said.
