Police searching for three gunmen in Amaoti

A manhunt has been
launched for three gunmen who killed a man in Amaoti, north of Durban.
Police say a 30-year-old man, who was with his two colleagues, was in the area to pick up another fellow worker for their shift on Tuesday night.
Spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says while they were waiting in the car, three men approached them and opened fire.
Gwala says the occupants of the vehicle got out and ran in different directions.
"The suspects fired again at the fleeing driver who fell and died a few meters away from the vehicle. They took two cell phones and fled the scene.

“The driver sustained gunshot wounds on the right shoulder and chest. Charges of murder, attempted murder and robbery were opened at Inanda police station for investigation."
The police are appealing to anyone with information to contact their local SAPS or crime stop on 08600 10111.
