Police search for suspect as foetus found in Newcastle
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth after a new born baby was found dumped in Newcastle this morning.

"When the police arrived they noticed it was a foetus and it's a boy. They suspected that the body was found minutes after the [mother] gave birth. Up until now, there have been no arrests," spokesperson, Thulani Zwane said.
Zwane says they are appealing to community members who might have information on who abandoned the baby - to come forward.
At the weekend, two babies were also recovered in Lamontville and Sydney Road.
