A number of students gathered at the university’s quad this morning, protesting a number of multiple issues they say the university has not managed to deal with.

Calm has been restored at the university for now but police have stationed across the campus in case protest action flares up again.

Protesting students entered the campus this morning and allegedly broke down two doors. Officers managed to disperse the crowd using teargas and rubber bullets.

Students are not happy with the state of the off-campus WiFi,  bus shuttle times and off-campus living conditions.
