Police probing the attempted murder of KwaDukuza taxi owner
KZN police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after a taxi owner was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in KwaDukuza yesterday.
It's alleged the forty year old man was travelling on the Doesburg Road with a passenger when a red car approached them and shots were fired from it.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the passenger managed to flee the scene unharmed.
"Up till now there's no arrests made. We are also appealing to the members of community to please come forward about the suspects who allegedly shot the man because we dont know whats the motive behind the killings" he said.
Zwane added they're also trying to find out if the shooting is related to the taxi violence that has been troubling that area.
