Police probe after man shot dead in Toti

Police authorities are searching for four suspects involved in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man in Winklespruit, south of Durban this morning.

Police say the man sustained several gunshot wounds near the traffic lights in Winkelspruit Road. It is believed the victim was involved in a drug dispute with the suspects.
One suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder.

Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says officers are investigating the incident.
"There is a murder case that is being investigated by the Amanzimtoti police . They were fighting over dealings with whoonga. The fight started yesterday and today, they came and killed the deceased.
"Then, the suspects ran away. As the police investigation proceeded, they found one of the suspects at the clinic with injuries and the vehicle suspected to be the getaway car was also impounded," she says.
