Updated | By ECR Newswatch
An investigation is underway into an armed robbery in Richards Bay - after a woman was assaulted, and robbed at the city centre.

Police say a woman in her thirties was attacked by two suspects - at a petrol station in Alton yesterday.
The men then struck her with the butt of a gun, took her wallet and fled the scene.
Netcare911's Shawn Herbst says they treated the woman for mild injuries.
"Shortly after 3pm, Netcare911 responded to reports of an armed robbery at a filling station on South Central Arterial Road, Richards Bay. Reports from the scene indicate a 40-year-old woman sustained minor injuries to her head when she was pistol whipped in an armed robbery. The patient was treated on scene for mild injuries and taken to hospital once stabilised," he said.
