Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Police are monitoring the situation at a Chatsworth train station, south of Durban following protest action there earlier this morning.

Officers were called to the Chatsglen area at about 5am.
Protestors also disrupted traffic on the busy Higginson Highway. Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says they are monitoring the area.
"Chatsworth fire department and Chatsworth SAPS are at the scene assessing the situation. Traffic is flowing at the moment and the trains are running. The situation is stable at the moment," she said.
