Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Ntuzuma police say an arrest is imminent after the body of a nine-year-old boy was found in a river in KwaMashu, north of Durban, this morning.
The child was discovered by resident, Mzobanzi Ngubane, in the Ugobhogobho River near Nyala Road.
Speaking to Newswatch from his home - Ngubane says he was busy watering his crops at about 4am, when he saw the body in the river.
He says he didn't believe the boy had drowned as the water is shallow.
