Police, motorist encounter caught on camera
A video showing an alleged altercation between a motorist and a metro police officer in Midrand, Johannesburg has been circulated on social media.
The video initially shows two Johannesburg officers shove a motorist before verbal dispute ensues.
Another motorist tries to dissolve the situation whilst filming the incident.
Posted by Facebook user, Carmen Bell on social media, the caption accompanying the video reads "This poor man was so frightened he could barely speak...it was disgusting and so scary to watch!"

On the social network, Bell alleges that she began filming the incident after the motorist was physically assaulted.
Reacting to the incident, Joburg metro police officials have condemned the incident and have urged the motorist involved to issue a statement. An investigation is also underway.
