The police ministry has hailed the investigative team who took on the murder case of Tshegofatso Pule.

It comes after the High Court in Johannesburg found Nthuthuko Shoba guilty of the premeditated murder of Pule, who was his girlfriend at the time.
The 28-year-old was found hanging from a tree in Durban Deep in Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.
She was eight months pregnant with Shoba's child.

Muzikayise Malepane pleaded guilty to killing her in June 2020 and turned state witness.
He advised the court that Shoba orchestrated the murder and hired him.
"The Ministry of Police has congratulated the South African Police Service investigators who put together a solid case, that left the court with no choice but to convict Ntuthuko Shoba of premeditated murder of his heavily pregnant girlfriend, Tshegofatso Pule," says spokesperson Lirandzu Temba.
