Police make arrest in Umlazi court murder
Mxolisi Bhani was arrested at the Umlazi Magistrates' Court yesterday.
He is suspected of involvement in the shooting dead of Sipho Ndovela outside the same magistrates court in mid-May.
It is believed Ndovela who was a resident of the violence-ridden Glebelands Hostel had information the January killing of fellow resident Fikile Siyepu.
The police's Thulani Zwane says 27-year-old Bhani is linked to another murder case.
''He was arrested yesterday while attending another case at the Umlazi Magistrates Court where he allegedly shot and killed a taxi owner.
''He appeared today at the Durban Magistrates Court and the case was reprimanded for September 1 for further investigation,'' he said.
