Police keep close watch after N2 protest near King Shaka

Police are monitoring the N2 Northbound at the off-ramp to King Shaka International Airport where a group of protesters had this morning gathered.
The group disrupted traffic on the highway this morning with burning tyres.
Metro police say while protesters have since dispersed, but debris remains on the highway.

There were traffic delays as Metro officers cordoned off one lane while five suspects have been arrested for public violence.
