Police probe death of boy (4) who plunged from 3rd floor apartment

An inquest docket has been opened following the death of a four-year-old boy who plummeted from the window of a third floor apartment in Verulam, north of Durban.

The tragedy happened on Monday.
It's understood the child fell some 15 meters to the ground.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says he's been identified as Armaan Kassim.
"He sustained head injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later died. The matter is still under investigation."
