Police investigate shooting at tourists on Jozini Dam

Police in KZN are investigating a case of attempted murder after suspected poachers allegedly opened fire on a group of tourists on a boat on Jozini Dam.
The incident took place earlier this week.
It's alleged a group of people, including tourists, were on a wildlife sightseeing trip when the suspects started shooting at animals.
When they saw the tourists – they turned the guns on them.
KZN Ezemvelo Wildlife says a statement will be issued in due course.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says no fatalities or injuries were reported.
"Reports indicate that a group of people, including tourists were on a wild life sightseeing on a boat when unknown suspects started shooting at the animals. It is also reported that after realising that they were being watched, the suspects allegedly shot randomly at the people on the boat."
