Police investigate Grosvenor Girls assault claims

KwaZulu-Natal police have confirmed that a pupil, at Grosvenor Girls' High school on the Bluff, south of Durban has filed a case of assault against her teacher.
A group of girls marched on Friday to a local police station, where one of them opened an assault charge.
"If any criminality is found, the law must take its course," said Keeka.
Her parents were present.

The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department said yesterday that the male teacher had been suspended, pending an investigation into allegations that he hed assaulted three girls.Angry parents and pupils took to the streets to voice their grievances.

The DA's Imraan Keeka says the matter must be expedited."If any criminality is found, the law must take its course," said Keeka.
Brighton Beach SAPS is investigating a case of assault.
