Police hunting for suspects as bodies found in Pinetown, Empangeni

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating two cases of murder following the discovery of bodies in Pinetown and Empangeni.

A body was found in a stream in Westmead in Pinetown on Monday.
Search-and-rescue officials say the man had multiple injuries.
In a separate incident, police from Empangeni were also called out to recover a body on Monday.
Provincial police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala said: "Yesterday a body of a 25-year-old man was discovered by community members a J-1 section at Esikhaleni in a small stream.
"An inquest docket was opened for investigation at Esikhaleni Police Station. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated."
