Police dogs searching for missing persons in explosion-hit Joburg

SAPS K9 dogs have been sent out to help search for missing people after
the gas explosion in the Johannesburg CBD.

The blast rocked one of the city's busiest streets on Wednesday afternoon.
It's left one person dead and 48 hurt.
Several people have claimed they are missing loved ones, including a child.
The Gauteng Police Commissioner has urged those with missing relatives to go to the nearest police station and report them.
He says they will do everything in their power to find them.

The cause of the explosion remains unknown.
Police say they don't suspect the explosion to have been caused by any criminal conduct.
