Police arrest three suspects linked to five KZN murders
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Three men thought to be linked to five separate murders in KZN are expected to appear in the Maphumulo Magistrate's Court tomorrow following their arrest last week.
Police Spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala, says officers are in the process of ascertaining if the 19, 24 and 34-year-old suspects were involved in other murders in Nsuze.
Gwala says the 34-year-old - believed to be the mastermind - was arrested at an informal settlement in Durban's Cato Manor where he was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

She says the gun will be sent in for ballistic testing to determine whether it was used to commit any crime.
Gwala says the three suspects have been linked to a murder in Bhamshela earlier this month where they're alleged to have opened fire on a motorist who had stopped for directions - killing two of his passengers.
The trio are alleged to have struck again a week later when three people were killed in Ngcongangconga. The motive for the murders is unknown at this stage.
Police are investigating.
