Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A total of 128 people were
arrested during violent protests in Ezingolweni in southern KZN.

Another 60 demonstrators were taken into custody yesterday following a protest outside the South Coast Mall in Shelly Beach.
Police say in Izingolweni, they were arrested during protest action and further looting in the business central district last night.
Ezingolweni has been a no-go zone - with residents taking to the streets in anger over the water cuts.
Most of the rocks, trees and other debris that was used to blockade roads have been removed.
Newswatch stopped at a local shopping centre where businesses were broken into and looted over the past two nights.
Owners are now busy with clean-up operations, sweeping the glass of floors, replacing broken doors and window frames and counting the amount of stock they’ve lost.
At a shoe store, empty shoes boxes could be seen strewn all over the floor.
