Police appeal to public over Verulam woman's attack
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Durban police say their search for a Verulam man alleged to have stabbed his pregnant girlfriend has not yielded fruit and are calling on the public to assist with information.

Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the man has been on the run since the woman's stomach was also cut open in Riet River.
''The Verulam police are still looking for the suspect. It's alleged that on October 1 around 7:15pm the woman was stabbed severely. She was later taken to hospital for further treatment.
''The victim is still receiving treatment in hospital and there has been no arrests made. We are appealing to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the suspects to please come forward,'' he said.
