Police monitor after Go George protest
Updated | By Portia Cele

A police spokesperson says officers were deployed in the area yesterday to ensure the safety of commuters.
A violent protest gripped the area near the N2 Garden Route Mall between taxi operators and the bus system.
No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.
Similarly, disruptions to EThekwini Municipality's Go Durban project were reported in May.
The KZN Transport Alliance raised concerns that the new project will cripple the taxi industry.
ER24, who was at the scene, shared pictures and footage of the incident on social media. See below.
