Traffic officers have adopted zero-tolerance approach to drunk driving and motorists caught on the wrong side of the law.
With KZN's roads a hive of activity, thanks to the arrival of more than a million holidaymakers, here are some tips to keep safe:
• Don't even think about picking up that cell phone when driving. Remember, both hands on the wheel and use hands-free
• Keep those seatbelts on and remember to put your mask on before leaving home
• Make sure that your vehicle is roadworthy. Check your tyres, brakes, steering and lights
• If you don't need to be on road, please stay at home.
From the East Coast Radio Traffic Team, we thank you for your love and support in keeping KZN safe.
Happy Summer holidays KZN. We look forward to hearing from you on our traffic hotline 031 566 3534.
