PMB woman killed outside home during hijacking

A Pietermaritzburg woman has been murdered outside her home on the eve of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence.
Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the 43-year-old woman was ambushed by a gang of four on Tuesday morning as she was about to leave her Bowker Road home in Bisley.

"She sustained gunshot wounds to the head and was declared dead at the scene.
"The suspects also robbed the victim of her vehicle which was later found abandoned at Imbali Unit 1."
Police are investigating a case of murder and carjacking.
