PMB teen accused of killing cop to apply for bail
A teenager will apply for bail next week following his arrest in Pietermaritzburg after a police officer was shot and killed.
The 19-year-old was arrested Monday for allegedly shooting Officer Thabani Gwala on Oribi Road.
He appeared in court on Tuesday.

It's believed the two had an altercation shortly after Gwala got off his shift.
Another officer was injured in the shooting.
Gwala was stationed at the Pietermaritzburg Public Order Policing.
